Step 1: Send a friendly message in the group chat Bewoners Hofdijk with the request that whoever involved lowers the volume or continues drilling/construction at a later time.
Step 2: Should the disturbance continue, you can contact one of the building managers.
Step 3: If the above steps still haven’t resolved the problem you can contact the police at 0900-8844. This should only happen if conversations have not helped.
Does a lamp need replacement? Do you need something for your kitchen, bathroom, or toilet? You can pick up items from the assistant manager. Make an appointment through SuperSaas. and they will reach out with further information. There’s no need to make a formal repair request with Stadswonen. Unsure about who to reach out to? If you want to get inside your unit, contact your flatmate or someone else who has spare keys first. Are those people not available? Then contact one of the managers who offer service using runner keys. The fee for this is €15,- on workdays and €25,- on weekends. Make sure you can show a valid ID so the managers can be certain they’re letting in the right person.
Ø If you’ve lost your keys then you will have to do as above. If you want to get inside your unit, contact your flatmate or someone else who has spare keys first. Are those people not available? Then contact one of the managers who offer service using runner keys. The fee for this is €15,- on workdays and €25,- on weekends. Ø If the work requires a locksmith, a fee of €150,- will be charged.
If you want to apply for an extra key you must send an email toinfo@stadswonenrotterdam.nl with the following information: First and last name, address, building name, and the specific key, including the KM-number that’s engraved in said key. For example: KM6009041111. Stadswonen will fact check your data and reach out to you with further information for picking up the extra keys.

The roof pavillion is currently only used for communal activities for the entire building and is unfortunately not available for renting. Should this situation change in the future, residents will be notified.

The parking lot is under Stadswonens management. Without a permit you will be unable to get a key to the parking lot gate. For further questions regarding the parking lot you’ll need to reach out to Stadswonen.
It’s possible to apply for a parking permit at the municipality of Rotterdam, with which guests can park for a reduced rate in the city streets. For more information, see rotterdam.nl.
Making an appointment with the municipality to pick up oversized waste is completely free and can be done through this website or by phone via 14-010. All you need to do is leave the rubbish outside the night before the pickup appointment. Need any further help? Feel free to reach out to the building managers.

This can be done between 10:00 and 20:00. Try to cause as little disturbance as possible for your neighbors during this time.

You’ll be informed ahead of time about all the practical information related to this. The goal of the check is to see if the shared spaces of the unit are in decent condition. This includes the kitchen, toilet, and bathroom.

Clogged:
In case of a clogged toilet you should reach out to Stadswonen. It’s only considered an emergency if the water threatens to flood the bowl or if the cistern is leaking. If this is the case, immediately call Stadswonens emergency number.
Leaking:
If there’s leaking from the toilet itself or the tap, also reach out to Stadswonen immediately. Call the number, listen to the tape, and press 1 to peak to a member of their staff.
Fixtures:
Hooks, toilet roll holders, switches, or toilet seats can all be picked up from the manager’s office. Make an appointment for pickup using SuperSaas.
Get in touch with the repairservice of Stadswonen. Call the emergency number and explain the situation to them. In the meantime you can close the water supply manually by turning the tap underneath the sink labeled “Hoofdkraan”.
File a repair request with Stadswonen They’ll come to visit you to help you further. Are you unsure or are looking for a temporary replacement in the meantime? Reach out to the managers so they can help find a solution.

Small repairs | Calendar
You can make a reservation every Monday during the week from now on to pick up light bulbs, shower hoses etc.Should there be any special circumstances on that day, I will inform the respective resident. If the calendar is closed, it means it is not possible that day.

Get in touch with the managers. If one of them is available they will see if the problem can be solved by us. If not, they’ll make an appointment for repairs with Miele.
Remove your reservation from SuperSaas and let others know through the residents group chat that a slot has come free, should others wish to take it.
Make sure you are present at the start of the next time slot to explain to the next person what’s going on and if necessary let people know in the group chat.
Send the treasurer with your first and last name, the IBAN-number of the bank account used, and the time you used the machines so we can verify this. As soon as this has happened you’ll receive a message from the treasurer with a confirmation that the money has been returned to you.
